FAQs

What to Expect

1

Every session is designed to feel relaxed, natural, and quietly guided.
From the first conversation to the final artwork, our goal is simple to create something honest and lasting that reflects your connection.

What if my horse isn’t behaving during the session?

2

We understand that horses don’t perform on command — and we never expect them to.

We take our time, follow their energy, and create space for them to settle and be themselves. Some of the best images come from those in-between moments.

If your horse needs a break, we pause. If something isn’t working, we adjust. And if it’s simply not their day, we will make it right and revisit the session.

What happens if the weather is bad?

3

The quality of light matters, but so does your experience.

If the weather isn’t right, we’ll reschedule — no stress, no pressure. We intentionally keep our calendar flexible so you’re never forced into a session that doesn’t feel right.

You don’t have to show up knowing exactly what to do.

We’ll guide you through everything ahead of time — from what to wear to how to prepare your horse — so the experience feels simple and intentional.

How do I prepare for my session?

4

What should I wear?

5

The wardrobe should feel natural and true to you.

Neutral tones, soft textures, and timeless pieces photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection. We’re happy to help you refine your options.

Most clients bring 2–3 outfits.

This gives you variety without interrupting the flow of the session or making things feel rushed.

How many outfits should I bring?

6

Where will my session take place?

7

Most sessions are photographed at your home barn or a location that already feels meaningful to you.

We’ll guide you in choosing spaces with the best light and simplest backgrounds so everything feels effortless and refined.

What is included in my session?

8

Your session includes a fully guided portrait experience and a curated gallery of professionally edited images.

You’ll also have the option to purchase additional images and printed artwork.

When will I receive my images?

9

Your gallery will be delivered within 30 days.

Each image is carefully refined so your final collection feels cohesive, polished, and true to your experience.

Do you offer prints and artwork?

10

Yes — and we highly encourage it.

These images are meant to be lived with. We offer heirloom-quality prints and artwork designed to last for years to come.

11

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand that life — and horses — require flexibility.

If something comes up, we’ll simply find a new date that works and ensures the best possible experience.

How far in advance should I book?

12

We take on a limited number of sessions each season.

Booking early is recommended, especially for spring and fall.

Is this the right fit for me?

13

If your horse is part of your everyday life, your history, your sense of home — you’re in the right place.

This experience is about more than how it looks.
It’s about holding onto something that won’t always stay the same.
